What Your Endowment Donation Funds
As the singular endowing donor to the “Light Your Legacy!” campaign, here’s what your funds will be used for:
1. Repair the “HOLLYWOOD” letter panels (3 are currently in need of minor repair)
2. Light the 30-foot triangular “HOLLYWOOD” tower sign.
3. Upgrade the landscaping.
4. Complete the landscaping all the way up the median.
5. Clean the sidewalk.
6. Maintain the sidewalk lighting. Replace bulbs.
7. Maintain the murals that have been painted on the electrical boxes.
8. Install benches.
9. Seasonal holiday (twinkle) lighting on the tree.
10. Special signage acknowledging you, your company or organization as the donor.
In addition:
Once the necessary funds from your donation have been allocated to the immediate repair, maintenance and upgrades (including the lighting of the “HOLLYWOOD” sign), and the endowment is set up in such a way that the Project will be maintained in your name in perpetuity, YCC will determine how much of your donation can be allotted to be used for local community service and neighborhood beautification projects.
You’ll be invited to provide your input to the community service and neighborhood beautification projects for which you’d like to earmark some of your donation.
